Description
TB-41-99-661 Turn Signal Load Equalizer
$65.00 RRP
The Thunderbike Flash Rate Regulator is required when using LED turn signals, as these consume significantly less power compared to conventional incandescent bulbs. Without the regulator, the onboard electronics detect the reduced load as a fault and change the flash rate.
• Suitable for connecting one pair of turn signals
• For turn signals only (not for 3-in-1 modules)
• On models without CAN-Bus, ensure proper heat dissipation (e.g. frame mounting)
• One regulator is required for the front and one for the rear
• Suitable for all motorcycles, Harley-Davidson models, and custom frames (except Revolution Max)
• For continuous operation (e.g. hazard lights), we recommend frame mounting due to heat generation from the resistor
Consequences without Flash Rate Regulator:
• The flash rate increases significantly (hyperflashing)
• The onboard electronics interpret the low consumption as a defective turn signal
• Error messages may be stored in the system
Function of the Flash Rate Regulator:
• Simulates the electrical load of a conventional incandescent bulb
• Provides a load-independent, constant, and compliant flash rate
• Prevents error messages and hyperflashing
• Ensures full compatibility when converting to LED turn signals
